Website & Cookie Policy

1. Using this website

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site.

2. Information on this site

We keep the content on this site accurate and current, but we provide it for general information only. It doesn’t constitute professional or technical advice for your specific environment, and it isn’t an offer or a binding quotation. Before you act on anything here, talk to us so we can advise on your actual situation.

3. Intellectual property

The iTRINITY name, logo, emblem, wordmark, brand elements, site design, text and images are owned by iTRINITY or used under licence. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written permission. You’re welcome to link to us and to quote short extracts with attribution.

4. Links to other sites and services

We link to third-party websites and services where it’s useful — our support portal at support.itrinity.co.za (run on Freshdesk), TeamViewer for remote support, our sister company Forged, and vendor documentation. Our contact and assessment forms are delivered by FormSubmit. We don’t control those sites and services, and each has its own terms and privacy practices.

5. The FIREWALL game

FIREWALL is a free browser game with a monthly leaderboard and a prize of a 30-minute support call with an iTRINITY engineer. Entry is by submitting a score with your name and email address. One entry per person is counted (your best score); we may remove entries that are automated, faked or offensive. The prize has no cash value and is not transferable. The board resets on the 1st of each month.

6. Availability

We aim to keep this site available and secure, but we don’t warrant uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or from reliance on its general content. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here affects the terms of any service agreement we have with you as a client — those terms govern our services.

8. Cookies — what this site actually uses

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device. itrinity.co.za sets no cookies — none from us, and none from analytics or advertising networks, because we don’t run any. That is why you don’t see a cookie banner here: there is nothing to consent to.

The site does use your browser’s local storage for three things, all of which stay on your device and are never sent to us:

• Cursor preference — whether you have switched off our custom cursor (the toggle is in the footer).
• FIREWALL name — the name you last submitted a score under, so we can highlight your row on the board.
• FIREWALL personal best — your highest score, so the game can show it to you.

When you use the services in section 4 you leave this site, and they set their own cookies on their own domains under their own policies. Everything on this site, including its typefaces, is served from our own hosting, so simply loading a page sends nothing to any third party.

9. Managing cookies and local storage

You can block or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings at any time. Because this site sets no cookies, blocking them changes nothing here. To clear the local storage items above, clear this site’s data in your browser, or toggle the cursor setting back in the footer. If we ever add analytics, we will choose a cookieless, privacy-respecting tool and update this page and our Privacy Policy first.

10. Personal information

How we handle personal information — including what we collect through the forms and the game, who we share it with and your rights — is set out in our POPIA Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
